TheTranslate guarantee
USCIS Acceptance Guarantee
We stand behind eligible certified translations prepared for USCIS. If USCIS does not accept your translation because of a covered translation or certification issue, we’ll correct it at no charge. If we cannot resolve the issue, we’ll refund the translation cost.
What the guarantee covers
The guarantee applies to eligible certified translations prepared by TheTranslate for submission to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.
It covers issues caused by our translation or the certification statement supplied with the translation.
If USCIS raises an issue
Send us the USCIS notice or other written evidence showing that the translation or certification is the reason the document was not accepted.
We’ll review the issue and make any covered correction without additional charge.
If the issue cannot be resolved
If USCIS still does not accept the translation after we have had a reasonable opportunity to correct a covered translation or certification issue, we’ll refund the amount paid for the translation service.
What is not covered
- Denial of the immigration petition or application itself.
- Problems with the original source document.
- Missing documents or filing errors unrelated to our translation.
- Case-specific requirements not disclosed before ordering.
- Government fees, shipping charges, or third-party fees.
- Issues unrelated to translation accuracy or certification.
